I have been a Christian for about 27 years. For all these years I have sought to know the truth concerning Christ and the Church. When I was newly born again, I had the deep feeling and thought that I needed to be with other Christians. At that time my wife and I began to earnestly seek Christians who were living wholly for Christ. During this time I prayed that the Lord would show me His church. I visited many denominations and groups, but inwardly I was still unsatisfied.
One day I met a brother who showed me a book written by Watchman Nee and he told me, “This is the deepest book I have ever read.” I immediately tried to read, The Normal Christian Life by Watchman Nee. However, because Brother Nee’s emphasis was on the subjective experience of Christ, I couldn’t understand much of what he was saying.
Eventually, the Lord led me to some Christians who were experiencing Christ as the Spirit, and they showed me additional books and tapes by Witness Lee, a co-worker of Watchman Nee’s, which helped me to begin to experience Christ.
For the last 25 years I have benefited from this ministry. Witness Lee’s books have helped me to receive light and revelation from the Bible. I can also testify that for 25 years this ministry has nourished my inner man and caused me to grow in the divine life.
I praise the Lord that He mercifully led me to His church and has kept me all these years.
